¶ Extreme Upgrade System
Extreme Upgrade system is single handedly most rewarding and most difficult upgrade system our server currently offers. Even though Forsaken team made it easier and safer for Forsaken players, its still very costly and hard to progress on Extreme Upgrades. You can apply Extreme Upgrades on your Armors, Weapons and Bikes.
¶ Extreme Upgrading
To make Extreme Upgrades, you will need certain materials:
1. Extreme Cores (to make extreme upgrades)
2. Repair Kits (to repair broken items during extreme upgrade.)
¶ How to Obtain Extreme Upgrade Materials
Extreme Cores
- DP Shop (Extreme Core Pocket Premium and Unique)
- Map Bosses
Repair Kits
- DP Shop (for Silver Repair Kit)
- Cash Shop (for Gold Repair Kit)
¶ How to make Extreme Upgrades
You can make an Extreme Upgrade from any Core Alchemist in towns. Go to Core Alchemist NPC and Select Upgrade > Extreme Upgrade and Extreme Upgrade window should pop up.
Place the item you upgrade on left slot. After placing it, extreme core slots will appear. Each level of Extreme Upgrade will require different amount of Extreme Cores and a sum of Alz. You can see the detailed table below:

After placing the item and the Extreme Cores, press Extreme Upgrade button to initiate the Extreme Upgrade.
In Forsaken Cabal, there are 2 possible outcomes from an Extreme Upgrade attempt:
Success: Items Extreme Upgrade level goes up by 1.
Failure: Item gets broken. Broken items are not vanished but they cannot be equipped until you repair them
¶ Repairing Broken Items
To repair a broken item you will need Repair Kits. There are 3 Repair Kits available in Forsaken:
1. Bronze Repair Kit (Have 15% success chance.)
- Obtainable from Chloe Craft "Repair Kit Box"(Not Recommended) or events.
2. Silver Repair Kit (Have 50% success chance.)
- Obtainable from DP Shop or events.
3. Gold Repair Kit (Have 100% success chance.)
- Obtainable from Cash Shop or events.
Using Repair Kit on an item may fail depending on Repair Kit you are using but upon failure, item doesn't get destroyed or reset. Only Repair Kit vanishes.
After successfuly repairing an item, you may equip it or make another Extreme Upgrade attempt.
¶ Calculating Extreme Upgrade Success Chance
Extreme Upgrade Success Chance varies depending on current Extreme Upgrade level and used Extreme Cores on attempt. You can find an Extreme Upgrade Calculator below:

¶ Tips for Extreme Upgrade
-Extreme Upgrade success chances gets gradually lower on every level. It is acceptable to use low level cores (6-9) on first few levels of Extreme Upgrades but after EU3, it is recommended to use cores Lv.10 or higher.
-Most reliable way to get Extreme Cores is to buy Premium and Unique Core Pockets from DP Shop.
-Extreme Upgrades start to get very hard after EU3. Do not commit after that point if you are not ready to burn lots of alz.
